Gruffalo Roar – Living Arrows 2/53

Gruffalo Roar – Living Arrows 2/53

It’s another week of Living Arrows. Each Monday I’ll be sharing a picture of Monkey that celebrates childhood.

Living Arrows is hosted by Donna at What The Redhead Said who explains that the project originally took it’s name from a poem by Kahlil Gibran, “You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” .

This week’s picture comes from our trip to see The Gruffalo at the theatre. The tickets were a present from Nana and Grandad and Grandad was able to come along with us. I’m not sure who was more excited! It was pretty obvious from the minute we arrived at the theatre that he would be buying her a present and she loved this cuddly gruffalo. I know it looks a bit like she’s scowling at him here but I promise she’s just practising her best gruffalo roar!

I love seeing how close these two are. I was always (still am!) a real daddy’s girl so seeing how much my girl loves him really makes me smile.

  1. What a lovely picture of them together, I adored my grandparents when I was little, it’s such a special bond. The Gruffalo sounds brilliant, I must take the kids to see it, they love the book. #LivingArrows
