Easter Fun: stories, hats and days out – #LittleLoves

We’ve had a wonderful week. It started off so beautifully with all the sunshine and even though we were soon back to the rain and the wind we still managed to have lots of fun. This week we…

Read

With this week being Holy Week I wanted to share the Easter story with Monkey. We were given a copy of ‘Someone Very Special’ at a children’s church group we attend on Thursdays. We’ve read it lots of times this week.

It’s a great book as it manages to stay close to the bible without being too scary for a toddler. The illustrations in the book are lovely too and we’ve really enjoyed looking at it together.

Watched

We went to a Cbeebies event at Eureka on Wednesday. It was all based around Goldilocks and the three bears to launch their ballet version of the story which will be shown on bank holiday Monday. They did preview screenings at the event and we were all very excited to see it. It was brilliant and I would definitely recommend watching it with your little people.

It was Monkey’s first time in a cinema and I was a little worried about how she would be but she loved it. She didn’t move at all throughout the whole thing. I think we might be ready for a trip to a ‘proper’ cinema!

Heard

We heard that Monkey is going to continue as a brand rep for Little Mr and Miss Apparel. We’re so excited because we love their clothes.

Made

This week Monkey had her first ever visit to Build a Bear and made Sofia the Bear. They are now the best of friends.

Wore

After making it last week, this week Monkey got to wear her Easter bonnet with pride and show it off at nursery.
